Lord Palmerston

I am working on a project involving historic death masks and took photographs of a number of them last week. I am not very happy with the results and have to refine my technique. I will be returning to do a series of these photographs in a couple of weeks. But for now, here is a photo of Lord Palmerston – British Prime Minister.

Harpers Ferry Horse Drawn Hearse

I took these photos in 1970 down the street from the Harpers Ferry Cemetery. I have no idea of where the hearse came from or what happened to it… Below is a short slide show of this series.

Steamtown, Scranton, PA

I just got a new Olympus OM-D and decided to give it a test drive. I went to Steamtown for the morning and took some photos, loaded them into Lightroom and converted them to black and white with Nik Software, Silver Efex Pro 2.

I do like to take photographs of the inside of old railway coaches! Enjoy this short slide show.
